Unexplained Infertility – The Most Painful Of All Ailments

It is devastating enough when you suffer from infertility. When such news is broken to you, you should  at least seek out medical help to readdress the issue starting with the point(s) that the tests found and/or what your partner is lacking in. What do you do when the ailment you are suffering from does not have any rhyme or reason and, hence, no cure?  What can you do when you find that you are suffering from unexplained infertility?

What to do you do when you have nothing to do but accept your plight. When you find out that you and/or your partner are suffering  from infertility, you can at least visit the specialists and find out ways and means to reverse the trend. Even if you do not, at least you will have it in your heart – that maybe, one day, I will find a cure; I will have a baby – by some type of miracle. 

When you find out that you are suffering from unexplained infertility the doctor is trying to tell that 'I am finding nothing wrong with you and/or your partner' and that is the diagnosis.  This is definitely not correct.  If everything is fine, then why aren't you having a baby? The news that you and/or your partner really suffer from unexplained infertility puts everything else in a different perspective, your life, the way you look at life, your love for your partner, your love for yourself.

People who are suffering from this diagnosis do not suffer only from an affliction but also from the fact that they feel totally worthless. They need patient counseling and a no-questions-asked type of friendship.  This prognosis takes away their tiniest hope – it is devastating because without that tiny hope you loose your interest in life and the routine work that you carry about during the day time in the office or at home.

Unexplained infertility can even break a family unexplained.  Unless they have a very strong commitment to each other, come what may, many couples end up in divorce after obtaining this type of prognosis.  This is why it is imperative that you try out all the treatments that you can.  Maybe, just maybe, someone down the line could be instrumental in either explaining why the couple suffers from unexplained infertility or they could maybe get rid of the infertility altogether.
